Hey! I'm Sejal Bovenizer
Producer. Creative. Entrepreneur.
Here’s My Story
I was born in the Garden State and raised a Georgia Peach by Indian immigrant parents. I majored in English (but will always say y’all), got my wings in the Big Apple (literally flying the friendly skies before landing a dream job at an iconic women’s magazine) and finally arrived (with head still in the clouds) on the west coast to pursue a career in film & television. I'm still at it, only I'm back in the south where it all started…for now.
My goal is to make projects come to life, whether they’re mine or someone else’s.
Entertainment Bio
I have over 18 years of experience in all phases of production, from pre-production through field & post-production. My work spans multiple genres of non-scripted programming including lifestyle, travel, competition, makeover, home improvement, dating, true crime, and documentary series for cable, network and streaming platforms including Showtime, Amazon Prime, Netflix, ABC, Bravo, E!, VH1, Fox, Syfy, Discovery, Lifetime, and HGTV.
Recent projects include Netflix’s Down to Earth with Zac Efron, Indian Matchmaking, and Mucho Mucho Amor, ABC’s The Con, and Showtime’s Active Shooter: America Under Fire, for which my episode on Columbine was nominated for an Emmy.
My 60-minute dramedy Sky Girls, about a 1960’s stewardess leading a double-life in order to become an airline pilot, was optioned and considered for a major network.

I've created, developed, and pitched multiple television projects in the lifestyle/wellness, travel, food, comedy, talk, and parenting space to production companies and networks.
Business is personal to me. As a producer, I thrive on making content that both entertains and provokes thought. I’m driven by a desire to make a small (but mighty) dent in a big world, one television/show/documentary/conversation at a time. With some haha's along the way.
